WhatsApp Now Supporting HD Images and Videos: Transforming Your Chats
So today the promise is fulfilled by Mark and we can now share HD photos and videos on our WhatsApp to whoever is on our friend’s list, as long as the photo or video itself is shot in HD.
This has also been verified by the Meta Official statement. All WhatsApp users now have access to HD images and HD movies.
According to the WhatsApp representative Ellie Heatrick in an email told that “both HD photos and HD videos have been globally rolled out.” A promotional video on Threads was also made by the firm, encouraging users to “share epic moments” using this innovative new tool, which has been available to beta testers for a while.
How To Share HD Photo Or Video
So you might be wondering how it’s done when you want to share an HD photo/image or an HD video. To be honest it is very simple and you will get a hang of it once you start doing it.
Now all you have to do is select a friend or family member to whom you want to send an image or photo.
Now simply click the paper clip icon as you normally do to open the different options of sending the photo, video, location, document, and many other available options.
Now from here go to your Gallery and select the photo or video you want to share.
As you select the photo or video from the gallery you can see the HD option right to the left of the crop option. Now you can select the HD option and send the photo or video to your friends or family members whom you have selected.
Now keep in mind that the HD sign will appear only when you select an HD-created photo or video from your mobile, not with the ones that are not in HD quality.
Before WhatsApp users had to share high-quality photos in a compressed format that lowered the quality of the image or video, but now WhatsApp added this feature of HD to stay competitive in the market.
This is one of the key changes that indicate that WhatsApp is preparing itself to be more competitive in the corporate world with this addition of HD images and videos.
Recently, Meta released a native version of the program for macOS that supports voice and video calls for up to 32 people. Along with hidden group chat features, the platform now also supports screen sharing.
